Calculator

Are you on track to stop working when you want to?

Model each retirement asset separately, adjust returns for specific years, and explore taxes, withdrawals, pensions, real estate, and required minimum distributions in one detailed projection.

Before you read too much into it

What a number like this can and can't tell you.

A projection is a way of asking a better question, not a forecast. These are the limits worth holding in mind.

What does this calculator actually do?

It projects retirement accounts, taxable investments, cash, pensions, Social Security, rental property, taxes, and withdrawals through age 120 using the assumptions you choose.

Does this include inflation or taxes?

Yes. You can set inflation and simplified tax assumptions, along with category-level return overrides. The results are still estimates and cannot capture every tax rule, fee, or market outcome.

Is this advice?

No. It's a directional estimate meant to start a conversation. Nothing here accounts for your tax situation, your existing coverage, your risk tolerance, or the sequence of returns you'd actually experience.

What return should I use?

Use a range instead of relying on one forecast. Try conservative, moderate, and optimistic assumptions to see which parts of your plan are most sensitive to market returns.
